This month's meeting is on a great topic: email marketing. By now, all of us have read enough articles, reports, surveys showing that email marketing is an essential arrow in every online store's quiver. Sandi Karchmer Solow
Sandi Karchmer Solow?s background includes forming and implementing strategic marketing programs for a Big Four consulting firm and developing content for CNN.com and CNNSI.com. As an individual consultant she has worked with a loyalty marketing firm in Atlanta to manage the daily aspects of an email marketing program, including list segmentation, tracking the effectiveness of various messages and promotion analysis. She founded I Send Your Email in 2007 and has since worked with nonprofits and a small business to develop an email marketing program.

Solow holds a BS in journalism from Indiana University - Bloomington and an MBA from Georgia State University.

She is also the author of the popular blog, Marketing Through the Clutter.

Allan Regenbaum
Allan Regenbaum is the owner of Keylan Inc, a web retailer of multiple brands of cookware, operated, and managed by his wife Robyn . Having been in operation for 12 years, and grown the business and its brands, he leverages his client base, and mail tools to extract value from email marketing. Allan is also the Director of WEB marketing for Soltech, a leading Atlanta based IT services firm where he works on helping clients leverage the web to enhance core business drivers

This month's meeting will be our first out on our own (the first meeting was held jointly with Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs)

Our purpose today will be to get to know each other better. What we are doing today what is next for our businesses.

This months meeting will be $5/person.

Group news/updates:


We have been on the lookout for a new meeting location. This has been a significant impediment for the group, but we have found a great one.

Starting in June we will be meeting across from the High Museum at the Atl. Public Library - Peachtree Branch. Great meeting room with view of the Calder from the meeting room. Meetings will shift to the 4th Tuesday 6-7:45. First meeting in the new location will be 6/24.

The Feb 21 meeting is our kickoff meeting! We'll have an introduction to eCommerce, hear from four Internet Retailers and have a moderated question and answers session. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs.
